airshow

I went to the airshow in oshkosh, wi, on friday. i really enjoyed the planes, but was a bit horrified by the quantites of pollutants released into the air....but my horror did not stop me from absolutely loving the "wall of fire" ignited by the wwII bombers at the very end of the show. it was a fantastically enormous explosion, and very hot - they said it was a mixture of gasoline and dynamite. the 'wwII reenactment' (read: explosions) was supposed to pay tribute to war veterans, but all it really did was glorify war for the kids... between the fireballs and the harrier jet appearance, i bet the military's recruiting woes are over.

Ummm....when refering to the big explosions...could you please give it the respect it deserves and always refer to it as the "WALL OF FIRE!!!"
