ohio

did you know that ohio is a warp in the space-time continuum? proof: indiana is 153 miles across, and it goes by in a flash - especially after chicago. across ohio is only a little farther than indiana - 239 miles - but somehow it almost kills me every single time i try to traverse it. about 50 miles in (toledo area) i completely despair of ever reaching the other side or knowing happiness again. but somehow i make it (usually after stopping to chat with a police officer), and then there is pennsylvania. pennsylvania's 316 west-east miles before i exit the turnpike somehow are MUCH faster than 239 in ohio. so, something is wrong with ohio.
