there was massive carnage at my house today. limbs everywhere. i started to repot my mama violet, and then had to cut off nearly half her arms. she had gotten very lopsided somehow (where she got the idea that 45 degrees was an excellent angle for growing, i do not know), and there was no way to make her sit flat without a lot of trimming. i hope she will grow straight now. she's about 6 years old, and it's her 2nd repotting - first move to a much larger pot.
