it took a long time down south here, but it finally got cold enough for the gingkos to give up the ghost. bright yellow leaves everywhere. just really love the look of it, and wanted to share the picture.

it's been a few days since i took the picture (sorry, i know you live for these DC updates!), and the leaves are being pulverized to a fine yellow powder. but it's raining now - it'll be a lovely yellow paste by morning.
