camera

i've been forgetting to take my camera along lately, and so keep missing photos. today, on a walk, i saw two very weathered cloth dolls - an old woman and old man, about 9inches each - perched in a tree about 6ft high. creepy. (kind of glad i forgot my camera, actually.)

i could spend all my time taking pictures of ALL the flowers coming out here - crocuses, daffodils, forsythia, and all the trees. yesterday i visited the garden store for some pots, and now i need to have my own yard. neeeeeeed. yaaaaaard. i saw ranunculus flowers for the first time, and had to buy a plant, even though it will only live a short while indoors. (also bought one for two married friends who are grumpy right now, because her wedding bouquet was ranunculus.)

my friend c came to visit last night! she didn't arrive until 9.30, and then we went down to u street. usually she wants to go to bed early, but we didn't even try to catch a taxi until after 3. so i'm exhausted, but we had a great time. today she took off at 1.30, then i napped, and then went for a bike ride and wore myself out good.

ok, guess just a ramble. can't remember the other things i was supposed to write, and haven't taken any pictures!
