dark, dark chocolate

the company that makes dove chocolate puts these little supposedly
inspirational phrases on the inside of the little foil wrappers.
usually something like "live your dreams!", yadda yadda. at
valentines' day, i bought a bag of foil-wrapped dark chocolate hearts
to give to folks, and the messages were darker than the chocolate.
one guy unwrapped one that said "be your own valentine" (f u, dove!
i'm loved!), and i had one that said "there's a time for compromise -
it's called 'later'". whoa.
