sad

the best friends i've made here are the two halves of a married couple, and they're on the rocks right now. one is even moving out of their home. it's very upsetting to see them both so sad. they told me that they don't want me to be 'stuck in the middle in a weird way', and i told them that i never knew there was any space in the middle in which to be stuck. i'm still not sure there is a middle. but i hope they find the best possible outcome.
