another strike against dc cabbies

a cab pulled to the curb tonight on a major artery (connecticut ave nw, d of c) to ask me which direction was "downtown". nothing obscure or difficult, just "downtown".

this gives me more confidence to fight them when i think they're overcharging me - they might have no idea where we are.
