i am not a pop star

there's this one song that i used to see on the tv at the gym all the time last spring and summer - they had MTV on one of the monitors, but i didn't have a radio, so i just read the captions. it was great, because i learned the words to my man fiddy's songs and such that i never would have picked up otherwise. but the one j.lo song that i saw a lot of times, i never heard on the radio, and so i had to make up my own little tune. and it was a damn good tune. but it was SMASHED yesterday at my new gym - they play the sound with the videos, and it turns out j.lo wasn't singing anything even REMOTELY close to the way i had written the music. i couldn't stop laughing, but decided not to explain it to my elliptical neighbors.
