emb*ssy r*w

today i went to my first emb*ssy. (the stars are to foil searches, since all the bad guys are gonna want to know about the lack of security at emb*ssies) the k*rg*z republic was just in the news this week, so i expected some security. but it was just a big ol' rowhouse, small flag out front, front door WIDE open. inside there were a few leather couches and a couple of makeshift desks with papers strewn about. i gave my passport, $100, visa application, and photo, to one of the two people there - who tossed it on one of the desks. i am now waiting to see what happens... and i definitely need to check out more emb*ssies.
