weather

for a few lovely days, i was away visiting my fambly, fishing, watching MY parents love up MY j, and watching some friends get hitched. on the long drive home yesterday, a friend called to tell me she saw my workplace on the news and full of floodwater! oh dear. it's true. several buildings in the area are being pumped out and have no power. i couldn't go to work today, and i can't tomorrow, and there's still more rain coming so i hope i can go thursday because i have some things to do for which i need office access. the server is now back up, so i can get email - but since i haven't had any email in days, it seems i may be the only one actually trying to WORK from home....hmm.
