SOB

"COB" is used often to mean "close of business", as in "i need a response by thursday, COB". but if something arrives at cob, who's gonna do anything with it until the next day? therefore, i'm spreading around the new protocol - start of business. and yes, even now i'm crying tears of laughter thinking about how much fun it will be to write the imperative: "i need it by friday, SOB".
