snow!

we got a buncha snow last night! it was beautiful - and the city slowed to a crawl. i saw a plow driver asking a drunk pedestrian for directions at around 3am (plows don't get much practice here)


and this week i got a new mattress. i haven't taken care of the bed bit yet, but it's still very nice to have a real mattress...except for my paranoia about somehow staining it and voiding the warranty, which leads to my irrational late-night fear about wetting the bed (after 2o-odd years). but i'll get over it really quickly.
