things i learned tonight

2) canadians sometimes call cigs 'darts'

3) u street metro shuts two minutes before you get there, or at 11.50 pm, whichever comes first

4) always wee before heading home (i don't know how many times i'l have to re-learn this one, but it always takes almost-too-long to get home at night)

5) those few blocks of running on the way back to dupont circle really make the difference needed to catch the last train as it pulls into the station
