not your space

last week, i signed up for myspace because a) it had more hits worldwide than anything else, so i figured i better get on the ball, and b) i couldn't look at anything my friends were telling me to check out without being a member, and was resorting to emailing other friends to get them to write to myspace people (ex: when juana molina's show went badly and i had to find someone else to send her a note, to apologize on behalf of dc)

so, now that i'm catching up with the world, i'm playing "employer" and discovering all sorts of things about people that they probably don't want me to know..... for example, my brother clearly never thought that his family would discover why he has been especially absent lately (he's "in a relationship", and doesn't want to tell us... i think she's a professional body piercer. should i tell the folks, and teach him a lesson about the public nature of the internet? undecided.).

ALSO, i've discovered that my bOyfriend has multiple myspace profiles, which list him as single/there for dating. great! guess i messed up. (full disclosure: he hasn't updated any of the profiles since i un-singled him, but i still think it's funny.....well, he hasn't updated any of the profiles i FOUND - there may be a slew of others)
