peace

yesterday there was a big peace rally, with a march by the white house and a lot of performers on the grounds of the washington monument. it's been estimated that more than 300,000 people attended, including indie kids, families, soldiers' families, nuns, and even active military. pretty amazing, and an amazing venue that, to me, makes everything seem a little more serious:
